Welcome to SLH & Co. Friendly, Reliable, Bookkeeping Services

SLH & Co. | Bookkeeper Kent provide bookkeeping services to local companies in and around the Kent area.

We aim to provide a personalised bookkeeping service to small businesses and self-employed people either on the clients’ premises or from our offices near Dartford, depending on your requirements.

We pride ourselves on the level of service we offer our bookkeeping clients and can tailor our bookkeeping work to suit all sizes of business, from sole traders through to SME’s.

Our bookkeeping services cover all aspects of management accounts including; purchase ledger, credit control, bank/cash reconciliations, VAT returns and invoicing. We believe we are more than just a Bookkeeper; we are a full Management Accounting function for small business.

"When Stephanie took over our financial management and book keeping we were disorganised, chaotic and I never knew what our financial position was with any degree of accuracy. Within four weeks Stephanie had brought our existing systems under control. "

Who we work for
Why use us

There are two main reasons for employing a bookkeeper.

Firstly, a lack of time. All companies require an element of financial management; whether it be maintaining cash flow or preparing VAT returns, and employing a Bookkeeper can help to free your time for running the business rather than looking after the finances.

Secondly, a lack of knowledge. Although many business owners can be very knowledgeable in the area they specialise in, not everyone has the experience to manage their finances well. A Bookkeeper can fill the gap cost effectively and may even save your business money in the long run.

SLH & Co. | Bookkeeper Kent work on an hourly rate which offers our clients the flexibility to only pay when our bookkeeping service is required. If you employ a person part-time, you would pay them for their contracted hours whether there is work to do or not.
